Nepal, officially known as the State of Nepal, is a landlocked Himalayan country in South Asia. It is bordered by Tibet and China to the north and by India to the south, east and west. Kathmandu is the capital and largest city.

Nepal is the only nation in the world with a non-rectangular flag, aside from Switzerland.
