Arlington is a city in Texas, and has a population of 400,000. It is located between Dallas and Fort Worth.
It is best known as the home of Six Flags Over Texas, the Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Cowboys. General Motors has a major assembly plant in the city, its main plant which builds its SUV's.
In terms of academic offerings, it is home to The University of Texas at Arlington, the second-largest of the University of Texas System campuses (with the potential to be its largest).
