Talk:Cox Committee

So was Brooks Hays a member of the committee? That's what the top of this .pdf seems to imply, although other sources like this one indicate that the "Hays" was Wayne Hays of Ohio. —LT^{May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!} Tuesday, 17:06, September 21, 2021 (EDT)

Update: having read the final report of the Cox Committee, it seems that Wayne Hays was not a member; the report says that the acting chairman who filled the place of Cox was Brooks Hays. Unfortunately I only have it on my computer as a .pdf with no associated URL, so I can't link to it here. —LT^{May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!} Tuesday, 21:39, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Alternatively, paste it into Cox Committee Report. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:18, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

In the .pdf, there is technically no spacing in between the text when copy/pasting it, and the fact that typos somehow result in the process creates a tedious, long process to fix the errors. Even going through the process for merely a few sentences can take longer than one expects. —LT^{May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!} Tuesday, 22:34, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Other possibilities: take photos with your phone and upload the imgs. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:39, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Another possibility: upload what you got in raw form to a user subpage (draft space) and let editors tinker with it. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:43, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Ah yes, that's a good idea. I'll get to that right now. —LT^{May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!} Tuesday, 22:45, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Just post a link to it either from See also or your user page. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:47, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Maybe we can get User:StephenKollenborn to work on it. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:49, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Done. Now, perhaps the idea of uploading images may be more practical for readers. I can take screenshots of every individual page and upload them to put in a nice photo gallery in the article. —LT^{May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well!} Tuesday, 22:53, October 4, 2021 (EDT)

Yah, it won't be completed in a day, but gives editors something to do when they're bored (put a little Note at the top: You can help improve Conservapedia by copyediting and formatting this original primary source document.) I for one, want to read it, just don't know when. Got a link? RobS^{Free Kyle!} 22:59, October 4, 2021 (EDT)
