Yves Smith

Yves Smith is a financial analyst, author and a principal at Aurora Advisors Inc., a New York–based management consulting firm specializing in corporate finance advisory and financial services. She launched the influential financial blog Naked Capitalism in December 2006, focusing on finance, economics, politics, and power, with an emphasis on legal and ethical issues in banking, foreclosures, and the 2008 financial crisis.

Smith was a regular commentator appearing on the Gonzalo Lira YouTube channel until Lira was arrested and murdered by the Zelensky regime in 2024.
