The Westerscheldetunnel (English: Western Scheldt Tunnel) is a 6.6km (4.1 miles) long tunnel that carries highway N62 under the Westerschelde in the province of Zeeland, the Netherlands, connecting Terneuzen with Ellewoutsdijk.[1] The tunnel replaced a ferry when it opened on March 14, 2003.
