Vladimir Medinsky
Vladimir Medinsky (b. 1970 Cherkassy, Ukraine) is an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin and was the chief negotiator at the 2022 Istanbul peace negotiations[1] which were disrupted by the Biden regime and Boris Johnson of the UK.
Education
Medinsky graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University) of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998 with a degree in international journalism. He was senior lecturer and professor at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Medinsky is fluent in English.
Career
Medinsky headed the Department of Tax and Revenue of the Russian Federation from 1999 to 2004. Ge was elected to the State Duma of the 4th and 5th convocations and served as deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy and chairman of the State Duma Committee on Culture 2004–2005. He served as Deputy head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia party from 2012 to 2020 and appointed Minister of Culture in 2013. He is chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society since 2017. He became a member of the United Russia Supreme Council bureau in 2020.
