Vern S. Poythress

Vern S. Poythress (born 1946) is a contemporary Presbyterian theologian. He has been significantly influenced by his erstwhile professor John M. Frame.
Education
After receiving his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Harvard in 1970, he soon began attending Westminster Theological Seminary, obtaining M.Div. and Th.M. degrees in 1974. He also holds theological degrees from University of Stellenbosch (South Africa, 1981) and University of Cambridge (1977).
