Usha Chilukuri Vance (born Usha Bala Chilukuri; January 6, 1986) is an American lawyer and the Second Lady of the United States. She is the wife of Vice president JD Vance, who also served Ohio United States senator from 2023 to 2025. Usha Vance will assume the role of Second Lady of the United States on January 20, 2025, becoming the first Indian American and Hindu American to hold the title. Along with vice president JD Vance they have four children.
