Dinosaurs Article

I would like to know why my changes to the Dinosaur article are being removed.

Internal Linking

You don't need to do an external link for pages within CP. Instead just type: [[(namespace: (if needed))pagename|what you want it to say]] . For external links, you type [http://whatever.com what you want it to say] . Note that you only use one bracket ([) and no bar (|) in external links. ColinRtalk 17:23, 2 May 2007 (EDT)

"remove spelling issue"

Why did you do that? CPWebmaster 11:33, 3 May 2007 (EDT)

I'm assuming he did it because the ban on English spelling was lifted a while ago. Jrssr5 13:03, 3 May 2007 (EDT)

Homophobia

Done. I patiently await your reply.

Banned?

My user name was user:Tribal Totem. Can you un ban him? I liked that user name. Finnaly an Adult 22:53, 6 May 2007 (EDT)

Oh heck. Dont bother. Finnaly an Adult 22:56, 6 May 2007 (EDT)

Why did you remove the correct title from the text of the article entitled: Book of Mormon?

CPAdmin1,

The title of the book in question is actually "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ."

If you would be so kind, please inform me as to why you would remove the full name from the article? I won't insult you by ascribing certain motivations to your actions, but they don't make sense. You can't have thoroughly pondered the implications of the removal of the rightful subtitle of such an extensively published book from a reference such as the Conservapedia.

As a Conservative myself, I wholeheartedly supported the Conservapedia once I had discovered it. Having had many of my contributions removed, polluted, or otherwise mitigated by leftists at wikipedia.com, I know as well as any of you SysOps how it irritates to have one's article, correction, or revert back to truth be removed by a SysOp with a clearly leftist bias.

Imagine my disappointment when one of my very first corrections/enhancements at Conservapedia.com is removed by a SysOp, I then restored, and which was again removed by ANOTHER SysOp, which removal demotes the full name of a book Sacred to millions of Americans to the abbreviated, incomplete title favored by the lazy leftist media!

I have reverted the first reference to the name of hte book as you can see in the article in question to the proper title.

The front matter of The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ makes it quite clear that the name of the book is indeed as I noted. If you wish to verify the authenticity of my observation, please take a look here and here. Please also feel free to open physical copy of the aforementioned book you may have at hand, and you will find in the front matter of the book the same full title.

Just as the full title of Sean Hannity's most recently published book is "Deliver Us From Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism," so too does "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ" have a proper name, including a subtitle. Please do the right thing, both literally and figuratively.

Sincerely,

Leader

Two recent image deletions... please restore and revert

You deleted two images (Image:Artw 17.jpg and Image:Genesis1.JPG) in the past few hours (vandal uploads). If I remember correctly, those were images used in articles (as in: the vandal replaced them with something else), so could you please restore them and revert them to the original versions? On the image page, there is a "(rev)" link in the File History. Just click the bottom-most one (like I did in Image:XVI.jpg - the Pope turned into Emperor what's-his-name and I reverted it back to the Pope). --JLindon 21:40, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

I think that they need to be reuploaded. --Tim (CPAdmin1)talk 22:22, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

I have notified the (apparently) original uploaders. Thanks for restoring the image pages at least, that made it easier to figure out who to ask for a re-upload. :) --JLindon 08:38, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

Chess

Great work on chess. Tell me whenever it's ready and I'll schedule it to be featured on the front page!--Aschlafly 23:49, 8 May 2007 (EDT)

I agree, very nice article. CPWebmaster 23:50, 8 May 2007 (EDT)
The chess article is superb! Thanks for writing it. ~ SharonS Talk! 07:01, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

Thanks

for fixing my The Nation" category typo! Without even editorializing on my choice of categories. That makes you a "Man among men", in my book. Have nice evening... Human 00:55, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

In case you missed it....tastycow2

I added a new template for tastycow 2, after I found a public domain image of USDA Prime steak. See {{User Tastycow2}}. HeartOfGold 01:27, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

Also, I responded to your other question on the Gap theory here. HeartOfGold 02:28, 13 May 2007 (EDT)

The vandalism of box

You get me all wrong. A simple sandbox wont work for me I was trying to see if a "inbeded chain" was possible using wikitext. I tried on wikipedia but there user box was locked I though CP might no be so uptight. Oh well. Have a nice day. Box 00:10, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

Eleanor of Aquitaine

I wrote the article in Discussion box by accident, then removed it to the "Article". Why is it now in both?AlanE 15:43, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

Neanderthal

Don't you think, that since there are two fully developed articles, that Neanderthal should be a disambiguation page? Would it be a good idea to merge the two under the name "Neanderthal"? --Hojimachongtalk 20:43, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

Sorry, I was confused about the redirects and such; I see what happened now. Disregard the last paragraph; I support the deletion and redirect. --Hojimachongtalk 20:44, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

CPAdmin1, I'd like to bring over some of my edits from Neanderthal before the page move; is that possible? RobS 22:29, 15 May 2007 (EDT)

  • Once again I seem to have missed this discussion. Link anyone? --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 23:13, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
  • Perhaps the deletions needs to be restored, and we can have a discussion on this? --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 23:48, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
    • Who is the "someone" is it a secret? Please undelete the articles, and let us all see what is going on! At the very least reclaim them and put them someplace the can be looked at. I would hate to have to undertake a major new revision of it. Maybe Conservative could help me with that. And since you have previously been asked several times before NOT to take such unilaterial actions, I fail to see how you could have thought that. And, since you obviously discussed this with Hoji before the fact, how much trouble would it have been to post to the Sysop page and discuss? --Sysop-TK /MyTalk 00:03, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

possible vandalism

This looks like vandalism to me. HeartOfGold 00:47, 16 May 2007 (EDT)

It is a great day for me. Thank you for this privilege.

Abstinence

Can you or another sysop let me know what you think about the edits by TsarNicholas to the abstinence page? I removed his edits because, in my judgment, they reflect a liberal point of view and his source was unknownnews, a liberal website. I don't want to get into a revert war and he left a confrontational message on my talk page, so since I'm new I'd rather defer to a more experienced user's judgment. Thanks for your help. --Lorrie 12:41, 30 May 2007 (EDT)

Baseball articles

Baseball articles have been made according to Rules. They may stand in place till the end of the Contest. After that they can be deleted if they are not useful. After my point of view they are interesting, useful and nice. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 18:38, 12 July 2007 (EDT)

Joaquin - I am not yet convinced that this is the real CPAdmin 1 File:User Fox.png Fox (talk|contribs) 18:39, 12 July 2007 (EDT)

Your point of view if good for me. But if the rules are good or bad is a question that is not the moment to watch now. We are at the middle of the contest. As I told you, you may delete them once we are through. God bless you and please leave your comments for next week. At this moment we have to run fast to catch the Team 2 that has excellent player much better than us. --User:Joaquín Martínez, talk 18:54, 12 July 2007 (EDT)

User ConanO

I am not going to unblock him, nor do I recommend anyone else do it. His IP was shared with an individual who came online as "KillerFrenchFry" and posted numerous times in Asclafly's talk page insinuating Andy was a prostitute. Karajou 14:02, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Yes, I'll agree with you that his edits do appear solid, as ConanO, but he claims in the same breath not to have vandalized anything, as well as accusing me of being to lazy to check him out properly. The fact of the matter remains that his proxy, by his own admission, is the same used by "KillerFrenchFry"; now he is back as user:JoukoL, who happens to be using the same proxy as user:Manatee right now. Karajou 14:13, 16 January 2008 (EST)
At this time, he came in as user:ConanO2. I'll take your suggestion and give him the benefit of the doubt. Karajou 14:19, 16 January 2008 (EST)

Nice

Haha, I like the template lol--IDuan 15:31, 21 January 2008 (EST)
