I just checked your link. It reports about one Danish scientist. I know, there area few others, but this doesn't invalidate the claim that it widely accepted. Not sure if you saw the news about the IPCC report. The IPCC somehow represents the mainstream scientific world. But not everybody accepts it, therefore the it says in the article that it is widely accepted, and not that its true. And is a complete strech to call a theory incorrect when it is widely accepted, especially in the introduction of an article. The article has a section on controversy.
