What is this nonsense Conservative, explain yourself? I made perfectly "legitimate" edits that were intended to make the article more concise and therefore more effective.

RobS, I do not understand this reaction to my copy editing. Where is the edit warring? I thought my edits were constructive and I carefully avoided – or at least tried to – any substantive change to meaning. I admit to finding aspects of the article narrow, even misogynistic, given that there are conservative women, such as Phyllis Schafly, who fought for women's rights from a conservative point of view. Even Andy Schafly, in an interview, felt that his mother might have been a feminist, because she believed in equality.

Surely these edits didn't require discussion and if Conservative had problem with anything, he should have calmly explained what was wrong. I began with a small edit to test the water and this was accepted and remains.--RobLeonardWoo (talk) 18:04, September 13, 2022 (EDT)

I now see that you did copy edits. So I restored your edits. Regardless, your former ideological edits, bias tag, etc. are not wanted in the article.

If you want to edit the article further, you will have to understand the conservative perspective better. You will need to read the Bible from front to cover and read the book Equality: The Impossible Quest by Dr. Martin van Creveld before editing the article again.

RobS, I kind of understand what you mean by "warring", but I saw what I was doing as merely the normal back and forth of editing. I am still trying to come to terms with the ideological sensivity of this site, sorry. Maybe someone might have raised this matter on the Feminism Talk page sometime ago. I am unaware of any unsigned edits and believe that you may be confusing me with another editor – though there is frequently a substandard download, and I added a manual signature temporarily yesterday! The problem appears to be with your server, because my computer has no problems on other sites. Is this a general problem throughout North America?
