love the changes (improvements) to the Australia page - it is turning into quite a good reference. Thankyou. Bit by bit we can build a wonderful resource on this great land. --Bilby 22:34, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

Lets! :-) Peter Ellis 22:40, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
Is the DLP still considered a party? They ran a few candidates in last year's Victorian election and nearly got one in. Not sure what its Federal status is - politics is not my area! Well, not party politics anyway.--Bilby 23:47, 29 March 2007 (EDT)
I've listed *federal* parties. DLP is a state thing, as yet. See recent changes. :-) Peter Ellis 00:04, 30 March 2007 (EDT)

Uniting Church

I am not a member of the Uniting Church, but your article is excellent. I suppose the one thing that the church is known for in the wider community, that doesn't get a mention, is the Sydney injecting room. Clearly a controversial subject, but one I think would be interesting to get a run on this site as it demonstrates that the simplification that christian=conservative doesn't always hold by any means. Anyway, I felt it was "your" article so I wanted to leave you to decide whether you wanted to put such a potentially difficult comment on the page. Ferret 18:14, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Good point. It's not an issue for me. (At one stage of my life I was a phone counsellor at the UC Wayside Chapel in Kings Cross and heard and saw the toll of human suffering that the place has to offer. My personal point of view is that anything that helps is better than nothing.) I'll look into it and add a mention. Peter Ellis 18:21, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

Welcome

This is very late, but because it has useful links, I'm adding it now...

Cricket

Apolgises, I didn't realise they were quotes (I mistakingly thought quotation marks would be used, like the previous section on Batsmen and Bowlers which you had also written). Also the fact the most awful of phrases 'cricket player' was used suggested to me that this was written by an non-cricket expert. --Moronicorbit 08:33, 21 January 2008 (EST)

The source I used had those words (and capitals), quoting Richie Benaud, which is what the head para says. I did a light edit and left that usage (cricket player v cricketer) because of the Americanese favoured for entries at this site. How about you build some pages based on the cricketers named who don't have an entry? Peter Ellis 12:41, 21 January 2008 (EST)

Date links

I'm not going to mess around with your user page, but could you maybe de-link the dates in the image caption? It had apparently been decided not to link dates/years, so those articles will probably never be created. Thanks in advance! --DHayes 23:26, 15 March 2008 (EDT)
