Hello, Florida dave, and welcome to Conservapedia!
I am a contributor named DavidB4. I just want to say hello and offer any assistance you might need! Also, we have some guides which might help you get started and learn your way around if you need them.
- How to edit a website like Conservapedia - An intro on how to use Wiki code (which can be very useful if you haven't edited wikis before)
- Editor Quick Reference guide - A basic intro to how things work here
- Conservapedia's Manual of style - Extensive guide of good practices for writing and editing wiki pages
Please take a look at our rules when you get the chance. You also might want to look at the Guidelines of editing and collaborating here.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! Also we have a community portal where you can ask general questions, introduce yourself, or just comment. If you do post messages, please sign them by placing "~~~~" at the end of each one.
Thanks for joining our community, Florida dave! We look forward to working with you!

While we do allow authors to copy in text which they hare written, we try to avoid copy-and-pastes from other sources, even if the text is not copyrighted. Additionally, the text you imported on Darrell Castle is rather messy and not formatted well at all, as a direct copy from another wiki. Please consider cleaning it up and doing a bit of a rewrite, or it may be deleted.
Thank you! --David B (TALK) 17:35, 9 February 2019 (EST)
- The pages you created were direct copies from Wikipedia -- Conservapedia does not allow this, with the sole exception being then you are the original author of all of the copied info. Please see Conservapedia:Commandments and Conservapedia:Guidelines#Copying From Other Sources.
- Also, even if we were allowed to copy content from Wikipedia, it must be reformatted to comply with these guidelines:

- Thank you for checking, 1990'sguy. I have not gotten around to investigating yet. He is absolutely correct, Dave, copying others' work from places like WP is not allowed. We welcome anything of quality which you wish to write yourself, but we cannot use WP content as our own. Thank you for understanding! --David B (TALK) 17:42, 9 February 2019 (EST)
