Copying

Your Brahma Kumaris article is a copy of the one in Wikipedia. Unless you are the sole author of it, and have Aschlafly's permission, it will have to be removed. Karajou 06:55, 25 March 2008 (EDT)

This is incorrect. The license with which the Wikipedia is published is an open license that allows for modification and use elsewhere;

To quote: "The license Wikipedia uses grants free access to our content in the same sense as free software is licensed freely. This principle is known as copyleft. That is to say, Wikipedia content can be copied, modified, and redistributed so long as the new version grants the same freedoms to others and acknowledges the authors of the Wikipedia article used (a direct link back to the article satisfies our author credit requirement)."

It's also against Conservapedia's rules (see Commandments in the useful links box above). If it is solely your own work, it automatically has Aschlafly's permission. As I understand it, Wikipedia's licence also prevents it being used, as Wikipedia's licence is incompatible with Conservapedia's (probably the fine print behind "so long as the new version grants the same freedoms to others"). OK. I have neither the time nor legal experience to pick through the differences in the licenses but I am happy to re-work it on the basis of the sources.
