Updatewithfacts is an American online researcher, editor, jack of various trades, and helper on the Internet.

Updatewithfacts has spent a few years doing music reviews while researching politics in his spare time (among his other things during the day). His work has covered things such as security consultant, manager, translator, and teacher. He currently is enrolled in college and hopes to graduate before Spring 2022.

Before getting into encyclopedia editing, he got some articles published in an online magazine. The funny part is that he essentially won the prize of doing the articles by winning a writing contest for them. His articles covered mostly compilation albums and new music. Updatewithfacts has worked (in collaboration or simply talked shop) with a few other online researchers. He has respected the privacy of some of them (who wished to only give out their usernames) and enjoys the teamwork all the same. His political researchers on other sites (with the exception of Wikipedia) have been amazingly helpful and he has loved the experience of putting context into pages, adding relevant information, or fleshing out something on his mind.

One of his best friends online has the username TheDataCruncher. Most of their collaborations have been on local elections, although they have done federal elections at least every 2 years. Updatewithfacts worked with TheDataCruncher on predicting Burgess Owens as the winner of Utah's 4th congressional district. Some of their fans assumed both of them lived in that particular CD (congressional district), but neither one has. Both have lived in neighboring CD's at different points of time but not in the 4th. The big reason for working on that particular election was due to it being one of the most competitive elections nearby. TheDataCruncher still works with Updatewithfacts on research, predictions, and general water cooler chat from time to time. Another of his best friends is Thaddeus, simply nicknamed Tad. Tad has mostly been helping him out with additional music research as Updatewithfacts felt a bit burnt out after all his years doing it. Nowadays he doesn't work for that particular online magazine but they still talk shop about music and occasionally post reviews for non-profit media.
