Transgenders in sports refers to the unfair invasion of girls and women sports by biological males who assert that they self-identify as female.
In May 2023, the Texas legislature enacted SB 15 to protect college women's sports (the NCAA is failing to really protect women sports).[1] This bill limits women's college sports teams to their sex assigned at birth, and provides whistleblower protections for those who report violations by colleges that allow biological males to compete in women's sports. SB 15 allows people to sue schools that violate this law. SB 15 did not include a liberal amendment seeking to prevent its application to intramural and club sports.
