Template talk:User Constitution party

This party has been politically profiled as a hate group aligned with militia movements, the KKK, and racists.

The "Patriot Church" movement (which I will touch on here) isn't the only group Moore is friendly with--more than once, Moore has been noted as being courted by the Constitution Party--which has so many links to racist and militia groups that it gets its own category.
Constitution Party (formerly dba US Taxpayer's Party)
The Constitution Party--under both its present identity and its past name as the US Taxpayer's Party--has long been a darling of "Christian Militia" groups, Klan groups, Christian Identity practitioners, and similar racist rogues. [1]

The Southern Poverty Law Center says this,

Its extremist platform calls for banning all abortions, extinguishing the "homosexual agenda," ...neo-Confederate hate group ...the Constitution Party appears set on a Southern strategy [2]

Political Research Associates says,

...popular speaker at major gatherings of such organizations as the Christian Coalition and Eagle Forum. He was publicly courted to head the national ticket of the overtly theocratic Constitution Party in 2004 [3]

I'm afraid the existence of this Template makes Conservapedia a target of these same organizations and their activists. RobS 22:35, 18 May 2007 (EDT)

Rob, I removed reference to this template per your request. I do disagree with your reasoning, however. The same criticisms can and are made against the Republican party. HeartOfGoldtalk 22:45, 18 May 2007 (EDT)

The same criticism is made against the GOP. We however, do not wish to attract racists, etc, or subversive provocateurs trying to make us a target. I'm sure you understand. Thank you. RobS 22:50, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
