Talk:Zuiderzee
From Conservapedia
Can someone please rename this page to Zuiderzee? --Gentenaar (talk) 14:06, 17 January 2017 (EST)
- Are you sure that's correct? It seems it is written both ways. For example, the Merriam Webster dictionary writes it with the space. [1] --David B (TALK) 20:32, 17 January 2017 (EST)
- The official (modern) Dutch spelling says Zuiderzee (English: Southern Sea) in one word, if you search the internet this will be the most common term for this former sea, now IJsselmeer (Ijsselmeer) with a capital IJ, from Dutch letter 'ij'[2]. --Gentenaar (talk) 15:25, 29 January 2017 (EST)
