Talk:Transhumanism

Firstly, I admit that I need to brush up on which passages say what, but as far as I'm aware, it is stated in The Bible that God placed us on the Earth complete, and that we were made in his image. Surely, then, trying to 'improve' ourselves with disgusting implants in the brain and such is a violation of God's work and only moves us away from him, resulting in the exact opposite of what the movement intends. Would it be appropriate to put this in the article? I would have done it myself but I don't know exactly which passages support what I think (or even if I'm 100% correct, shamefully!)

You are absolutely right, God made man in His image. Transhumanism is just another garbage atheist philophy that denies the glory of God. I just edited the main article so that nobody is deceived by their propaganda. They'll lie and say that they just want to improve quality of life and have nothing against Christianity, while they dream of an atheist cyborg world state, where there is no individual rights, no free will, and certainly no mention of Christ. - joshwa

ok sure but I have literally heard them talk about all of these things. I have never heard of a transhumanist who wasn't a radical or an atheist. I am not good at citations and stuff but I know what's right and what's wrong. God bless you. - joshwa

And I've never heard of a transhumanist changing someone into a mindless cyborg. I believe such a scenario is called science fiction. If you're going to be writing here or anywhere on the web, or a high school or college paper, you're going to have to learn how to gather and properly use citations.
