Got it! The GISS surface temperature page, and at the bottom, there's a link to the updated ranking of the ten warmest years (I didn't want to link to it directly because it involves opening up a Word file). Should have checked GISS in the first place, since that was where the trouble was. Apologies to everyone; that was sloppy of me.

Any thoughts on how (and whether) to integrate it? The way I did it before was sort of clunky and maybe not appropriate, because it gets into the whole issue when the article should be focusing on McIntyre's part in it. My problem with the article as written is that it's misleading; it implies that the worldwide figure was wrong then it was the U.S. figure. But I don't to get into the whole GISS error thing here because that's not what the article is supposed to be about. Is the GISS issue covered on some other page by any chance? Or would it be worth starting an article just on that? So we'd have McIntyre's contribution, and a link to that page for the full story. What do you think?--Frey 13:51, 5 June 2008 (EDT)
