Talk:Sit-ins at lunch counters

Sit-ins at lunch counters is NOT an encyclopediac article, it is a sub topic. I support the move proposed. EngelUmpocker 13:57, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

Maybe it would sit better (no pun intended) in an article on 'civil disobedience'. Bugler 13:58, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

I disagree. This was an important part of the Civil Rights movement. DanH 14:10, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

In which case anyone who might search for "sit-ins at lunch counters", if that is what they were researching, would be better directed to a section in the article on the Civil Rights Movement. As an isolated article, it makes no sense - although perhaps it might work with a judicious re-titling? It's just not a good title. EngelUmpocker 14:18, 2 May 2008 (EDT)
