Why are we attempting to blame ("get away with") producers for shrinkflation? Are they supposed to continue selling their products at loss when producer prices rise? RobS^{Zelensky didn't kill himself} 03:02, March 25, 2024 (EDT)

Who is "we", I am an individual. Since "you" insist that the page must read like a pro-globalist walmart-esqe internal policies document, I give up. Why are we defending ideological companies whose only goal is profit? What is the purpose of this page, if not a silent protest against inserted socialism in the market economy, and fair trade incompetency on the companies part? I realise responding to you is the quickest and shortest route to being harassed by you, but I'm quite concerned with the way this website seems to slowly drift in a pro-corporatism direction. Doing business requires good business practices, there are always new consumers under normal circumstances. If your product isn't popular, the normal thing to do is evaluate why, instead, many of these companies employ this dumb policy to the outrage of anyone with a short budget. I don't harass anybody.

Inflation is not like the weather - it doesn't just blow in. It has a cause. And that cause is government, not the private sector.

Why are we (meaning Conservapedia) taking the pro-Democrat, Marxist line of scapegoating the capitalist businessman and employer of people, as Joe Biden did in his Superbowl commercial (at a cost of $2 million a minute) to demonize honest, hardworking employers trying to keep their workers employed? Why are we promoting class warfare that seeks to divide people? Inflation, and shrinkflation, is caused by excess government spending and the Federal Reserve Board pumping up the money supply to buy government debt (or "monetizing the debt" as they say).

Let's point the finger at where the blame lays - government, and not at the businessman, producers, employers, and the people who still have jobs and are cashing paychecks in an inflationary environment by producing overpriced goods.
