Talk:Recession of 2008
From Conservapedia
Rename article?
Can we rename this article to the recession of 2008-2009? This has become Obama's Recession. Brown25 00:56, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
- Much as I dislike Obama, recessions are not historically named for individuals, and since Congress is equally duplicitous with BHO, and is the appropriator, it would not be accurate. --ṬK/Admin/Talk 02:25, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
- Recessions and depressions are always named the year they began. The title "recession of the late 2000s" won't make sense next week when we are in 2010. RJJensen 18:00, 27 December 2009 (EST)
First paragraph under U.S. Politics is repeated.
As I was reading the article, I noticed that the first paragraph under the U.S. Politics section is repeated under the Optimism or Pessimism? section. I was wondering if there's any specific reason for that. --Dfrischknecht 22:10, 21 October 2009 (EDT)
- thanks for spotting that. It's caused by a new computer virus called "cut-and-past-itis". RJJensen 02:58, 22 October 2009 (EDT)
"Origin" section does not include "cause"
There should be a cause section explaining how the Democrats started this whole thing with they're policies. FredM 17:36, 9 May 2011 (EDT)
