Talk:Ranked-choice voting
From Conservapedia
RCV may cost Sen. Collins her seat
If Collins loses her 2020 re-election bid, it could be due to RCV. This is because even if she initially garners a plurality of the votes cast over Gideon, those voting for far-left candidate Lisa Savage are much more likely to rank Gideon at a higher preference than Collins, as Savage said that she wouldn't be running if Maine didn't implement a ranked-choice system. [1] Max Linn is anti-Collins and anti-Gideon, so his supporters may not be inclined to necessarily favor either one of them, though it's possible Collins may be less unfavorable with them since Linn's political ideology is farther from Gideon's than being from Collins'.
