Article help
This article needs help. I'll try and clean it up a bit. First, it is miss-titled. People who don't believe that Shakespeare of Stratford wrote the plays are called "anti-Stratfordians". "Oxfordians", on the other hand, are people who believe that the Earl of Oxford wrote the plays, just as "Baconians" believe that Francis Bacon wrote the plays, and "Marlovians" believe that Christopher Marlowe wrote the plays. Make sense? (P.S. - sorry about copying from Wikipedia. I was not aware that is not allowed. No problem, as I can easily rewrite it, having contributed to similar articles and posts. - Rewrite it then, and try to make it clear as to what Oxfordian means, as well as a history of when it began. It's probably going to be an interesting subject. Karajou 02:43, 11 June 2011 (EDT)
- The "myth of the Shakespearian authorship dispute" reminds me of the Flat Earth Myth, when anti-Christians starting saying that "ignorant Medieval Christians" believed in a flat earth, e.g., superstitious sailors. The idea being that if all they knew was a few smatterings of Christianity, they were ignorant. It turns out that this rumor about medieval Christian ignorance was entirely made up by evolutionists.
- What precisely would you like documented? I have started to add references to both mainstream scholars and independent researchers.Mythbuster 13:29, 11 June 2011 (EDT)
