Talk:Order of the Thistle

Everywhere, I read the words "It is said that...." or "legend". I have never seen it told as a "fact" that the cross appeared in the clear blue sky before a battle between Athelstan and the Scots. If there is something definite to dispute this, then I will gladly leave out the "legend" comment. Getting my back up by being rude about it and somehow bringing ideology into it for no apparent reason is not the way to go. I am reverting it. AlanE 23:16, 12 April 2009 (EDT)
