Doesn't Jesus or repentance fit in here somewhere, or is this just more "trust the science" puke? RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 21:08, February 18, 2024 (EST)

God is the creator of the natural world which has scientific laws and has a mathematical nature to it. There is no real conflict between empirically well-validated science/math and theology. Conservative (talk) 21:19, February 18, 2024 (EST)
Agreed and Seconded. Cazle (talk) 21:20, February 18, 2024 (EST)
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

"They did not retain God in their knowledge" leads us back to my original question.
I guess this is how medical science creates transgenders and science created the covid vaccine to exterminate the human population. Trust the science. RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 21:46, February 18, 2024 (EST)
Most of the major branches of science were developed by Christians and the scientific revolution happened in Christianized Europe (See: Christianity and science). Universities were first created by the church. Well-validated, empirical science and math describe reality, but of course it is provisional in nature and subject to revision (One scientific law in physics was found to be in error). Christians shouldn't be against accurate descriptions of reality. I am not going to go on an anti-gravity campaign or deny that some people are more extroverted or conscientious than others as far as their personality. Or deny valid research that various personality traits are malleable.
God created the law. The law rules over all nature. Good science observes the law. Bad science comes about from an absence of God and adhering to his word, the law. A good scientist puts God as his first and most absolute truth, to which all other forms of truth must conform, otherwise they err. Frankly, I can not think of a single atheist who has contributed positively, all of the ones I think up of off the top of my head perverted the law of God. Cazle (talk) 21:44, February 25, 2024 (EST)
With that being said, if some people don't like science or the scientific revolution, they can do without it. The Amish are proof of that. Conservative (talk) 21:56, February 18, 2024 (EST)
That's not what this article says. It says you can "improve" your personality based on a bunch of scientific theory. Jesus said, Without me, you can do nothing - Jn 15:5. RobSZelensky didn't kill himself 22:31, February 18, 2024 (EST)
I am not going to get into a protracted theological debate. And Conservapedia is not going to delete all its science/math articles or indicate that science/math are bad/invalid.
With that being said, I did change "improve conscientiousness" to "increase conscientiousness" in the article because a person who scores high on the personality trait of conscientious is more prone to some deleterious behavior. Like a "highly conscientious person can also become overly rigid or inflexible and struggle to be spontaneous. In extreme cases, they may struggle with perfectionism and obsessive-compulsive disorder."[1]
But conscientiousness is generally a good thing and people who are conscientious live longer, get better grades at school, etc. Conservative (talk) 22:45, February 18, 2024 (EST)
