I think it might make more sense, if you create one article, entitled Geologic Time Periods (or whatever), and just have each time period redirect to the main article. I say this because each of these little articles has one, very brief sentence about when the time period was, followed by the huge YEC disclaimer. Please - go ahead and help! I think it would be really helpful though if each period has our disclaimer. I don't want my students reading about these nonsese terms and not being able to immediately see it's just a theory. So whatever you do - make sure it's blindingly obvious that 'their' view is merely an unprovable theory. Carefulnature

I'm not too interested in the my view vs. your view arguement, because I'm not a YEC and believe in an old earth. But that isn't my point. I just think, unless there is a desire on CP to expand on these articles further, that it would be better served to be included in one article, with the same disclaimer. That's OK Colest, there's a middle ground here! I actually think your idea is good, but I'm unable to do it - I don't know how, and it seems as if I can't access those pages anyway as you say. You're right that multiple pages with the same info is a waste, so if you or someone else knows how to make sure that i) a logical flow of proper information is made available, and ii) YEC viewpoints are not just visible, but the primary explanation, I'm totally fine with that. My preference is for the separate articles to remain, and be expanded. See Permian as an example. It's still small, but the YEC view doesn't overpower, as it does here. I have already created a Geologic system article as an overview, which each of these separate articles can link to for a more general explanation. Philip J. Rayment 06:46, 16 June 2007 (EDT)
