I disagree with this topic being merged into the Mineral article. There are so many aspects of Mineralogy that the article will not be able to contain them all. These are future articles related to minerals; for example:

• Streak
• Luster
• Hardness
• Cleavage
• Parting
• Specific Gravity
• Fracture
• Fluorescence
