It's not necessary to quote an outside source when a direct Bible quoation will do. Also, ages over 900 years were common, as is shown within the Bible. Adam, for instance, lived for over 900 years. Your fact citations were also misplaced. If you have knowledge of instances that make the statements inaccurate then provide that information, although in these cases that would be rather impossible. Possible interpretations

It would be good if this article could list possible interpretations advanced by Bible scholars on how Methuselah came to be credited with acquiring such a great age. For example, some scholars have suggested that there was a mistranslation of of "months" as "years", implying that Methuselah's actual age at the time of his death was eighty point seven five years.
