This calls into question the translation of "logos" as "Word" in the beginning of the Gospel of John.

It has been suggested that "logos" in Hebrews 4:12 above should be translated as "Christ"

St. John Chrysostom is an anonymous user on a blog? I think you must have been asleep in theology school when they discussed making decisions based on supporting arguments. The quote from St. JC is a stretch, at best -- the reference to it is distinctly qualified with a "some of them, at least, a "seem to." I would still love to see the suggestion as this article lays it out credited to a concrete, unqualified suggestion. W.Sidney (talk) 15:43, 13 October 2015 (EDT)
