The article cited for source of Biden dropping out in 2015 cites Beau's death and mourning as the reason. I think this entire claim should either be left out or the source changed to something else.

You may have a point there. The true reason is more connected to Biden-Burisma, the Uranium One and Clinton email scandals, which of course would require more explanation. RobS^{Free Kyle!} 21:35, 25 February 2021 (EST)

Biden had an ongoing scam with Ukraine and China which was very profitable; whereas Hillary was out of office and her scandals were water-under-the-bridge. While the Comey FBI was willing to coverup both and harass Donald Trump with the made-up Russia hoax, Biden had more to lose as the sitting VP if or when Hillary and Biden attempted to attack and/or blackmail each other. And of course the attacks, coming from a fellow Democrat primary challenger, makes it incumbent upon the MSM to actually investigate and report. So one or the other had to backdown in late 2015.
