Talk:Jim Acosta

Return to "Jim Acosta" page.

IMO

The detailed WH statement should remain in. It is an accurate record of the incident.

What's confusing is, why would Acosta supporters want it out? If the Trump WH is indeed wrong, why should details of the incident be censored? RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 17:55, 20 November 2018 (EST)

What the Acosta incident recalls an ACLU lawsuit in the 1990s. Public libraries were throwing out the homeless for not showering. They didn't have written policies. Now they have extensive lists of dos' and dont's (kinda like the 10 commandments) posted in public buildings.

At a local University I read the Visitor Rules (formulated after the 1960s riots). They were very very detailed. Additionally, each clause ended with "...for this, or any other reason...", campus security had the right to throw anyone off campus - meaning they could invent cause out of thin air. The Appeal Rights read the same way. RobSDeep Six the Deep State! 18:04, 20 November 2018 (EST)
