What's the big idea of locking the Jihadism article to prevent its reversion by other editors and then reverting the correct edits back to the way you want it to be (i.e. the liberal POV)? Northwest (talk) 01:48, 29 March 2021 (EDT)
- The underlying source citation, Michaelle Browers, Charles Kurzman. An Islamic Reformation? Lexington Books, 2004, makes no such assertions that you have piggybacked your original research onto. RobSFree Kyle! 01:52, 29 March 2021 (EDT)
- Research which happens to be based on Islam's history, coupled with the fact that the Left backs Islam and claims it to be a "religion" while attacking Judaism and Christianity. Those edits need to be put back the way they were and the article unlocked (and BTW, you started the edit war yourself when you reverted them back to your preferred version). - I suggest that one excellent way content disputes be resolved is by insisting that editors source/footnote their material. In addition, the content cannot be at variance with what the source actually states.

- The original source citation, Brannon Wheeler, makes no such claim.
- Original text: "Jihadism that is not the Abrahamic faith as Islam was originally designed to be..."
- Revision: "Islam is not the Abrahamic faith that it is claimed to be by its adherents and their liberal supporters..."
- Original citation: Michaelle Browers, Charles Kurzman. An Islamic Reformation? Lexington Books, 2004
- Comment: The revision changed the whole subject of what the original source is talking about, from Jihadism (a subset of Islam), to Islam as a whole. The original source does not deny that Islam is an Abrahamic faith.

- The editing patterns and habits of this particular user who made these changes essentially is, putting words in the mouth of both the cited source and primary editor of an article. Words that are neither the cited source's nor the primary editor, but are apparently the sentiments of this editor, and are often at odds with the primary sourcing in an article, and overall gist or direction of the article. Restructure or spinoff
This page either needs restructuring or a spinoff into a separate Islamofacism article. Jihad and Islamofascism are not interchangeable. RobSFree Kyle! 15:50, September 13, 2021 (EDT)
