Analysis:
(a) McCarthy never served in the House.
(b) McCarthy never servesd on HUAC.
(c) Nov. 15 1946 predates McCarthy's Feb. 10 1950 speech by more than three years.
(d) Wikipedia reports Harlow Shapley a "victim of McCarthyism" [2]
