Jessica, can you find a concise way to explain to Western readers which is his family name and which is his given name? I'm guessing it's like this:

• Family name: 宮崎 (Miyazaki)
• Given name: 駿 (Hayao)

You have it spot on. The tricky bit is always which is being used when - normally English language publications show given name then family name (and might show "correct" order with the kanji". --KotomiT^{ohayougozaimasu} 02:29, 17 December 2008 (EST)
