This article is neither Terrorism nor American Revolution. Try making your edit to one of those pages, and see if it stands. Bohdan 21:42, 26 February 2008 (EST)

I was citing the fact that Guerrilla tactics were used by the American revolutionaries. This is true under every definition of terrorism. [1] [2] [3]. I am not interested in expanding this article in general, merely citing a true fact. Chevrefuqae 21:53, 26 February 2008 (EST)
Guerrilla warfare is not always terrorism. And one of your definitions says "Many terrorist acts, especially against an occupying military or against illegal occupants are acts of war or resistance, and not terrorism. ". Bohdan 21:48, 26 February 2008 (EST)
By that definition, many of the terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan aren't really terrorists, as many of them (excluding, of course, those such as al-Qaeda who specifically target civilians) only attack US military targets (in this case, the US Military represents an occupying military force). This should be merged with Guerrilla warfare. Bohdan 21:52, 26 February 2008 (EST)

Merger with Guerrilla warfare

Per the tag I posted on this page and the guerrilla page, I believe these two pages should be merged. As topics, they are inseparable, since one cannot have guerrillas without guerrilla warfare. Maybe the page on guerrilla warfare could have a section on the history of the term or information pulled from the guerrilla article, but I do think they should be merged. Does anyone have any objections? Thank you! Kevin Davis Talk 09:15, 14 November 2011 (EST)
