Obtuse sentence using "though"

Article says, ". . . Zagonyi’s column, though, continued on to . . . ." [emphasis mine.] The word "though" seems to make no sense. IMHO this sentence needs to be composed again; perhaps dividing the long sentence into two sentences. (Thunkful2 (talk) 13:41, 10 September 2016 (EDT))
