Category?

A category such as Category:Featured articles might be useful to track previous featured articles. That way we can easily look at the article and tell if it was featured perviously, instead of searching this page. --DeanS^talk 12:48, 23 October 2008 (EDT)

As a general rule we try to only apply category designations for a subject that defines those subjects in a way they are well known. May I suggest having a section under our Feartured articles article that would put past articles in alphabetical order and therefore remove this problem and also keep our categories clean.
