Talk:Essay: Why I prefer to get my news from a wide variety of sources

Return to "Essay: Why I prefer to get my news from a wide variety of sources" page.

Just please don't get "news" from symps for white supremacist mass murderers

Thanks. —LT Rev. 22:13 Tuesday, 19:27, November 27, 2023 (EST)

He doesn't even bother to research the crap he puts up to make himself look educated, intelligent, and informed. For instance, this is what Wikipedia (not that WP is an authoritive source) says about The Diplomat:
"The magazine was acquired by James Pach through his company Trans-Asia Inc. in December 2007. Pach assumed the role of executive publisher and hired former Penthouse editor Ian Gerrard ,,,"
Ok, that was in the past. Then it says:
"The Diplomat has entered into formal partnerships with influential public policy and news organizations. One of the most prominent is the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS)."
CSIS is a notorious warmongering neocon think tank.
Now, one can mention or use sources that Wikipedia trash talks, but then one needs to be ready to dispute or defend against Wikipedia allegations. I bet $100 User:Conservative is incapable of defending The Diplomat against charges of being a neocon mouthpiece - not today, not tomorrow, or not in the next 6 months. All User:Conservative does is "name drop" garbage he gets from Google search results to defend his pretentious nonsense. That is not "critical thinking".
Furthermore: User:Conservative is incapable of answering a question directly with openness and agreeableness; he just resorts to article Mainspace and Essay space with more cut n paste garbage to attack his imaginary enemies. RobSGet thee behind me, Satan 20:20, November 27, 2023 (EST)
Here is a simple fact that User:Conservative can never run away from: the very fact that he did not recognize the events of April 2022 as the single biggest milestone in international affairs since the signing of the UN Charter at the San Fransisco organizing convention in June 1945 proves:
(a) he has no interest in global affairs;
(b) he does not follow news on global affairs;
(c) he has no bona fide, qualified sources on global affairs;
(d) he doesn't understand the language or rhetoric used in diplomacy or global affairs;
These things cannot be learned on the fly by someone trying to CYA because of a trolling gaffe he made 21 months ago. All he does is induce confusion among readers. It takes years, if not decades of study just to be able to open one's mouth on these subjects. Me personally, I first became interested at the age of 8, listening to my grandfather who fought in an Austro-Hungarian regiment in the First World War, and my father, who fought at Iwo Jima in World War II, while watching Meet the Press during the Vietnam war. Even at that, it wasn't until decades later after I studied for a 4 year degree in history that I felt confident enough to speak on contemporary global affairs and international relations based upon my own life experiences and what I personally witnessed.
User:Conservative's entire series on "Politics" and "International Relations" is an embarrassment to himself and Conservapedia, and should be deleted. And User:Conservative needs to move on with his life and abandon these petty vendettas he carries against strangers he meets on the internet. Still waiting for the "Red Wave" User:Conservative predicted and advertised on MPR repeatedly, week after week, in 2018, 2020, and 2022. RobSGet thee behind me, Satan 20:47, November 27, 2023 (EST)
Let's look at this pretentious nonsense he has spammed into half a dozen essays, and just spammed into this Essay: The case for being less partisan/political and being more objective, yet has repeatedly attacked me on dozens of talk pages for months for me saying exactly the same thing, most recently days ago on Andy's talk page:
"RobSmith wrote:
*IOWs, if you don't have anything positive to say about socialists and communists, just shut up, at least for the duration of the war. Read the bios of Bill Donovan, Frank Knox, and Henry Stimson. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, you especially need to just shut up. RobSGive Peace a chance 17:54, January 21, 2023 (EST)"
"I trust this clarifies why my hands are tied ..."
The man has ZERO analytical or critical thinking skills, and only pursues petty, personal vendettas in Mainspace articles and Essays with pretentious nonsense. RobSGet thee behind me, Satan 22:05, November 27, 2023 (EST)

Read all that neocon liberal claptrap all you want...

just don't spam it into dozens of Essays or use it to spam personal attacks against other editors across multiple user talk pages. RobSZelensky Must Go! 21:04, October 3, 2025 (EDT)

I understand - we all understand - you have immersed yourself in your belated research into global politics by reading neocon liberal claptrap from globalist think tanks, authors, "experts" etc. But please, spare us all, and Conservapedia readers, from having to witness you climb a steep learning curve in field you are likely to never achieve an apprentice status because we know you really are not even interested in it. Not to mention the information pollution you are filing up the Conservapedia database with liberal claptrap. RobSZelensky Must Go! 21:12, October 3, 2025 (EDT)
