Did you catch that? Verse 17: "...so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name." The restriction of buying and selling will only be possible when all currency becomes centralized and possible to regulate from a single entity. Centralized online currency will soon render all other payment forms obsolete, and the beast system is arriving. In concordance with Hegelian dialectic agitprop, the New World Order is artificially manufacturing thesis and antithesis across the globe to allow for "Sunday rest laws" to be introduced as the synthesis (pre-planned "solution" to the conflict), which will constitute the mark of the beast. Yep, the eschatological connections in concordance with present-day rapidly occurring events are intriguing to understand, and more important than ever before as the end draws nearer. Here are a two other continuing fulfillments:

They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. The days of Noah were exceedingly violent (Gen. 6:11), and the days of Lot in Sodom were rife with homosexual perversion. Have not scores upon scores of mass shootings occurred at rapidly and alarmingly increasing frequency in the past years?
