Talk:Essay: Atheism vs. Tim Tebow - Tebow wins
K.
Not sure about quarterbacks(can't say athletes really espouse religious views all that much let alone lack of them) but I can give you Pat Tillman. One hell of an athlete and good American if I do say so. Ayzmo :) 13:36, 6 December 2011 (EST)
- Tillman was not a quarterback and perhaps he was an agnostic.[1] You definitely did not score a touchdown for the atheist team on this play. :) Conservative 20:18, 6 December 2011 (EST)
- Oh, I'm aware he wasn't a quarterback(thought I made that clear.) Just thought he was certainly a valid response considering his stats place him as a very good individual for his position while Tebow's stats don't actually place him well as a quarterback as his popularity would make it appear. His throwing stats place him second to last in the league while adding in his running stats puts him 29th. Just some food for thought. May not have made a touchdown but I certainly converted :P. Funny. I went to over 56 football games over 7 years and I still hate football but I managed to make that allusion. Ayzmo :) 21:07, 6 December 2011 (EST)
Hmmmm is Aaron Rodgers an atheist?
I don't know a lot about Tebow or who is an atheist, frankly I feel like that is mostly private information. But from what I know about Rodgers is he isn't married, grew up in California, and is a fantastic QB.
Rodgers > Tebow. He will be carrying the Packers to another Super Bowl victory and maybe an undefeated season. --KenN 14:00, 6 December 2011 (EST)
- Did you trying researching a minute or two about Rodgers before commenting above? In a one mere search -- taking less than 30 seconds to find a story on point -- I learned that:
| “ | Rodgers decided to 'dedicate his life to living for Christ' when he was 16. | ” |
- Rodgers said:
| “ | [Church youth group leader] Matt Hock was the first person who showed me how much fun and how cool it can be to be a Christian. | ” |

- So can I make the Aaron Rodgers vs Michael Vick article? --KenN 19:56, 6 December 2011 (EST)
Nice one here
Once again, Conservative, you make me laugh with your very humorous, informative essay. No doubt atheists are hoping that one day you'll cease your surprisingly accurate observations, but in reality you (and others dedicated to our cause) will not stop pointing out the unending flaws of atheism that will eventually grind it to dust (and then incinerate the dust). Sorry
Dan Fouts is an atheist, and a Hall of Fame quarterback. And he put up way better numbers than Tebow! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ans (talk)
- Damn, a better win record than Tebow in his first seven starts? --Jpatt 22:36, 7 December 2011 (EST)
- Atheists were more confident during Dan Fouts day. Now they wimp out of debates like Richard Dawkins, wimp out of creation vs. evolution debates or they pretend their ear pieces don't work like Christopher Hitchens did during his debate with William Lane Craig (Hitchens was laughed at during the debate).[3] See: Atheism and cowardice. Plus, now atheists often whine about homosexual agenda talking points. Please remember, I asked what atheists today are quarterbacks as good as Tim Tebow. :) Conservative 23:36, 7 December 2011 (EST)
