This article could do with an initial statement of what is meant by "depersonalization of society". Unfortunately I can't add this, as I do not personally know.--CPalmer 08:27, 5 August 2011 (EDT)

Depersonalization is primarily a mental disorder that "occurs when you persistently or repeatedly have a sense that things around you aren't real, or when you have the feeling that you're observing yourself from outside your body" (mayoclinic.com).
