A vector is the medium in which genetic material is carried. A chromosome is also considered a vector.--TimS 10:30, 5 June 2007 (EDT)

As I become more comfortable with LaTeX, i'll be adding many more formuals and pictures. Right now, the article probably doesn't read well because math necessitates a lot of equations. I intend to fix thsi up and also cover many more topics in vectors, extending to calculus of vector-valued functions, assuming I'm not tossed off the wiki for standing up for the truth. Needs disambiguation - or splitting into separate articles. I suggest a bio/math split. Have the two kinds of biological vectors in one article; the math and physics vectors in another. --Ed Poor Talk 12:58, 3 July 2007 (EDT)
Why in the world would you totally blank my contributions as opposed to clean them up? That's ridiculously counter-productive. It's a much better use of resources to clean things up as opposed to erase them entirely, even if we do switch to a disambiguation. Stryker 00:53, 4 July 2007 (EDT)
I replaced your contribution with mine, because I thought mine would be easier for our readers to understand. That is a clean-up.
If you can improve upon what I've done, you are free to do so. --Ed Poor Talk 00:43, 6 July 2007 (EDT)
