Lol, I didn't realize this was debatable. As an ex-Nazi sympathizer, can I just comment on the level of mental retardation it takes to muster up something like this? Every time I visit this page, it makes me so frustrated and angry, especially as a citizen of Canada, whose country was in it from the start! I thought it was the LEFT debating WWII! This is so ridiculous, it's disgusting, and it makes me sick. And don't anyone dare accuse me of virtue-signaling! I wasn't even going to post this, I was going to leave the page, but then I just reflected for a moment. I remembered sympathizing with, even admiring, the Axis in my ideological past. I remembered something I posted on a white supremacist website about them being, "noble, righteous, heroic people fighting for the right thing." And then I remembered my password, which consisted of an expletive followed by Stalin's name within the triple parentheses. I remembered being anti-American, telling myself that the very institution of the United States was corrupt and infested with Jews, and needed to be destroyed. And then I thought of how today I am an interventionist, because America is and always has been the bulwark of freedom and liberty against tyranny and oppression. Always has been, always will be. And I do mean "the" bulwark. Other countries can help, but beyond that, they can't really do much, especially in comparison with the U.S.A. In this "Debate," people say that the U.S. shouldn't have fought because the Nazis would have killed off all the communists. And then I realize: that's how far anti-interventionism (a.k.a. isolationism) has gone. It's astounding. And reprehensible. And incredibly immoral. I'm used to this type of concerning, disconcerting stuff from the left, but the right...? With the exception of the far-right, I really could never have expected something like this. It makes you think. America can win both World Wars for the Allies, reign triumphant in the Cold War, confiscate all the physical territory from ISIS, and probably has the capacity to Westernize the world, but's it's always going to have these citizens who operate on a lower intellectual capacity, just like how environmentalists, atheists, white nationalists, and anti-Semites can flood a YouTube comments section with the most virile, disgusting nonsense even though their proportion to the general population is mild at best. There will always be those prattling conspiracy theorists who claim that 9/11 was a giant hoax set up by the George W. Bush administration. There will always be Holocaust-denying Nazi sympathizers on remote white supremacist websites (like a former incarnation of myself). And there will always be people who even today suggest that the United States should not have entered World War II. --BernieandTrumpFan
