Talk:Child abuse

Return to "Child abuse" page.

Does this quote sound like the words of a Liberal?

What are you saying, Mr Ed Poor? That child abuse is a good, conservative thing? Kaplinsky 12:06, 5 November 2007 (EST)

I'm really not sure why you drag liberal/conservative politics into this, Ed. Are you saying that liberals deny that abusing a child leaves emotional scars? Or what was the point of this implied attack? But speaking of quotes...
What is the difference between a liberal and a conservative? A conservative—a true conservative—seeks to conserve respect for the divine mystery of Christ’s Incarnation and Passion that is behind every liturgical action of the Catholic Church. A liberal defiles this divine mystery by reducing Faith to mere human convenience and sentimentality. Therefore, call yourself what you will, but only a true conservative can be a Christian. [1]
Sadly enough, this explains why his site counts as a reliable source on CP... *shakes head* --Jenkins 17:31, 5 November 2007 (EST)

A lot of work

We could do a lot with this article. I'd like to see a section on: causes, effects, child abuse laws, statistics (who is abusing children?)... I'm going to start working on this, maybe the causes and laws regarding it, but if somebody wanted to work on some other parts that'd be just great. JacobB 21:51, 17 December 2009 (EST)
