Good players virtually castle in every game. I'm tempted to take this out. On an introductory level, which is what this is aimed at, that's good advice. However, there are some openings or situations where castling isn't advised, especially if you're castling into an attack. Any other chess players have rewording advice? Well I know of only a few openings in which castling is not recommended, some varieties of the French as black, and a hyper-aggressive counters to the Sicillian as white (though I admit my knowledge of opening repertoire is not perfect). However anyone who plays such openings would not be looking to conservapedia for advice!! I think it is very good advice to a beginner to look to castle every time, unless there is a compelling reason not to (ie for material gain), therefore we should leave it as is, though I may add a little to it--DamianJohn 22:22, 17 July 2008 (EDT)
