Talk:Characterization of 1960s student unrest
From Conservapedia
Have you completed the article? If so, it presents a very one-sided view of the 1960s, akin to the conventional Liberal stereotyping of the so-called 'Swinging Sixties'. There seems to have been very little that was spiritual about it (apart from some half-baked toying with eastern religions), and instead the 'student movement' was an unhealthy mixture of leftist dogma (particularly of the Trotskyist and Maoist variety), and rampant hedonism, characterised by unferttered promiscuity and drug abuse. Your article should reflect this. MikeSalter 08:06, 10 January 2009 (EST)
- Yes. Correct. Still adding material. It was a period of social turmoil. This phrase implies that Religious movements are not always positive. And sometimes result in an overall increase in badness, which is what appears to have happened with this one. I agree that Liberals often celebrate the 1960's far too much than it deserves. --RickD 08:15, 10 January 2009 (EST)
