Talk:Abstract algebra

Expanded this section - it's true that abstract algebra is a branch of mathematics, but it's more narrow than that. Removed linear algebra as part of the definition. I haven't seen linear algebra being defined as an algebraic structure. There are matrix algebras that are algebraic structures, but "linear algebra" doesn't seem to fit. I won't argue too much though about it if someone thinks it does belong because it is used in the abstract algebra context.AlChesapeake(talk) 20:10, September 6, 2021 (EDT)
