Strong's Concordance

The Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, or far better known as Strong's Concordance, is a Bible concordance and lexicon, wherein every word in the King James Version (KJV) was maticulously indexed and cross referenced by its Methodist author James Strong. Strong first published his Concordance in 1890, while professor of exegetical theology at Drew Theological Seminary.

Point of Difference

James Strong's work has stood the test of time because it was literally 'The Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible'. It improved on Alexander Cruden's vastly similar work A Complete Concordance to the Holy Scriptures which already indexed every word in the KJV by adding a lexicon.
Meanwhile Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible stood a little different in that Robert Young's lexiconical efforts were significantly simpler in nature and his indexation was not simply in order of book,chapter and verse as was Cruden and Strong's efforts, but grouped by their root Greek/Hebrew word.
